![]() ![]() I was intrigued enough to pick up the book but I wasn’t convinced any sort of HEA would make sense based on the history of the characters, but somehow Mia Sosa and her lovely characters convinced me it’s possible. I wasn’t sure what to expect from this book because of the whole love interest being the brother of the ex-fiance thing making it extra messy and complicated. Love doesn’t operate in the abstract, whether it’s romantic or not. Of course, she picks Max, with full intention of ignoring him and doing all of the work herself, but apparently he has other ideas. ![]() ![]() And things go from bad to worse when she’s expected to work with one of the brothers on her pitch for the job. The last thing she expects is to see Andrew, her ex-fiance, and his brother, Max, who she believes is responsible for the break-up a few years later at the most important job interview of her career. Synopsis: Lina throws herself into her wedding planning business after being left at the altar in hopes of forgetting it ever happened.
